Sahaita Farmer Support Project

The Sahaita Farmers Support Project aims to create change in the livelihoods of kissan families, which are enduring an epidemic of farmer suicide amongst other prominent issues. These vulnerable families —who are the breadbaskets of India— are in dire need of resources. The organization's mission is to provide financial and educational resources to support and uplift affected families in villages across Punjab. Through economic assistance, the families can compensate for educational costs, food, and other basic necessities.
